If it makes you happy, then go for it. What’s the point in letting me know? Some people……
Thanks Mr. Obvious, you get another thumbs-down for your comment. That makes four negatives.
My point is, that Marketing hype is exactly that. You can’t trust anything these companies say RE: their products. They lure you with statements like; 100%, no trans fat, part of a healthy diet (Special K – Ingredients: RICE, WHEAT GLUTEN, SUGAR, DEFATTED WHEAT GERM, SALT, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, ), etc. HFCS, soy and canola are most certainly GMO’s and are in most processed foods. Canola bars are a perfect example. They are NOT healthy by any stretch of the imagination!
“WHOLE GRAIN WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR INCLUDING THE GERM, WATER, *YEAST, FANCY MOLASSES, SUGAR / GLUCOSE-FRUCTOSE, SOLUBLE RAISIN SYRUP (RAISIN SOLIDS, WATER), VINEGAR, VEGETABLE OIL (CANOLA OR SOYBEAN), SALT, WHEAT GLUTEN, WHEAT BRAN, SODIUM STEAROYL-2-LACTYLATE, CALCIUM PROPIONATE, MONOGLYCERIDES, ACETYLATED TARTARIC ACID ESTERS OF MONO AND DIGYCERIDES, CALCIUM CARBONATE. *ORDER MAY CHANGE.” This is “Dempsters” 100% whole wheat. The #5 ingredient is HFCS (CANADA)! This is NOT 100% whole wheat! GMO’s!
Awful funny I’ve been using splenda for the past two years in my coffee all of a sudden out of the blue my stomach starts bloating up along with other issues. I was miserable. I decided to start using the process of elimination of foods. The stopped using splenda about four days ago I don’t know it is the problem but I’m sure feeling much better at this point and can now even eat a piece of toast without running into problems.
Nigger.
Splenda is fine. I have been using it on and off since I first saw it at around 2002 I think. Had not had any illness related to its “dangerous” compounds. But of course, it is stupid to take insane amounts per day.
Stevia is from plants, so is high fructose corn syrup, and xylitol, erythritol, etc , but it is highly processed in such that it is no longer “natural”.
Hmmm, artificial sweetners are fine, just use them moderately.
Eh, just because chlorine is added to something does not mean it will give you cancer. You see, when chlorine is chemically bound, it’s not always bad for you. Ever heard of something called Sodium Chloride? That’s right. it’s salt. Can’t live without the damn stuff. NaCL, it’s half chlorine. That being said, sure, it could be dangerous.
Speaking of stevia, it’s illegal as a food additive unless you use the coke or pepsi versions, truvia/purevia respectively. (That’s some bullshit, right there)
I made a cream cheese frosting with splenda. It ate the aluminum foil I put on top! Holy cow.
That Splenda dude is friggen annoying.
