    While white flour is not considered the best type for diabetics more fat will delay the uptake of sugars. That’s why a lot of low fat products are actually worse.

    the paleolithic diet is based on the unproven belief that we’re not suited to whatever food that came after the paleolithic, regardless of whether there are studies showing the benefits of consumption of those foods (i.e. legumes) Most foods contain toxic substances but what matters is the amount. All studies on soy show that the amount of phytoestrogen or antinutrients is so small, a normal serving daily doesn’t even affect very small children. Dairy is more of an opiate than wheat is.

    Hi, the problem with wheat is the gluten contained in it, besides the carbs. Gluten is an opiate that interferes with the nervous system. And soy is known to mess with the thyroid gland. I think that if raw it is poisonous or toxic, like potatoes, beans or soy, dont eat it. By cooking them not all toxins will disappear.

    A lot of people smoke and… no seriously, wheat contains quite an amout of gluten, which is an opiate, like heroine with time it may wreak havoc on anyones system, diabetic or not, it is even suspected that gluten is one of the substances that can promote diabetic conditions.

    The tomatoes he showed are probably cut and had the liquid and seeds removed, so that it doesn’t make the pizza too watery.

    Glycemic Index is based on faulty science. The basic chemistry they used in determining GI is not correct. Please see-
    GLYCEMIC INDEX- why it does not worK ?

    Glycemic Load is based on DIRECT measurement of the glycemic response to a known weight of test food. No calculation or estimation of GI from apparent weight of contained CARBOHYDRATE is needed. Although the GI Researchers can’t or don’t want to understand this, it is a fact

    Wow! This is great! While I follow a low carb, low fat diet (I’m a gastric bypass patient – lost 100 lb), I did not have a recipe for this pizza dough. It looks soooo good!
